What Pebro wanted to say was that you've to install ALL drivers for your hardware.
It would be a nice thing and a great help when you please could tell us your hardware configuration, for example mainboard, cpu, graphics adapter, size of installed RAM, ...
If you've no idea what's running inside your machine you may can look it up in the users manual of your computer.
Another idea is when you're running a computer of one of the big manufacturers, for example Acer, HP, ASUS, ..., you could tell us the model-name / model-nr. Then we can help you finding the right drivers
Are you connected to the internet by cable (wired connection) or by a WiFi-dongle / WiFi-adapter (wireless connection)?
Maybe you have to reinstall the drivers for the NIC or dongle / adapter...
