Hi, please can someone help,

i have vista premium and the above mentioned router my prob is over wlan is everything perfect but over Lan cable the conection is slow and breaks off very often.

Please help,with XP it was working with no problems.

Sorry for the english but my writen German is not so Good,but you may answer in German.

Whats the name of your ethernetcontroller? Have you search for new drivers for him?
And your Router. Name?

Have you installed the service pack 1?

Yes, and i have had the problem for 3 weeks,i bought the PC from medion they have been here twice and changed the mainboard and the hard drive,
but the prob remains,in my eyes it must be a software prob,because under XP it worked.

Please press win-key and r. then type cmd. in cmd type ipconfig /all and look what it means

is your vista english or german

is in your router the ip-placing of static or manuel?

have you software for your modem? from arcor?

when yes, uninstall it and restart your pc. is in the router static-ip activated, after the restart your PC connect automatactly to the internet over lan-cable

yes it came with "Arcor Wlan quick starter" but this program does not find my router in VISTA

No NO  this software is not on my pc,i had a new hard drive fitted today so its clean.
