Windows Essentials 2012 für Windows 8 und Windows 7

Microsoft hat die kostenlosen Windows Essentials 2012 ver̦ffentlicht Рvormals als Windows Live Essentials 2011 bekannt.

In den Windows Essentials 2012 sind neben Messenger, Family Safety, Writer, Mail, Photo Gallery und Movie-Maker nun auch die neue SkyDrive-App enthalten.
Weggefallen ist dafür Windows Live Mesh (durch SkyDrive-App ersetzt).

Vor allem Fotogalerie und Movie-Maker haben größere Verbesserungen erfahren, so der Windows-Team-Blog.

Die Windows Essentials sind wohl nur noch für Windows 7 und Windows 8 verfügbar.
